Asma Nafees

Shaista comes from a beautiful valley in the world, Kashmir. She has completed her B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Srinagar and is currently working as Graduate Engineer Trainee at Vedanta Limited. She has been involved in multiple research projects in Additive manufacturing and Robotics at NIT Srinagar and is curious and passionate about leading-edge technical knowledge.

Shaista is fond of managing and organizing events. She also enjoys reading and watching netflix serieAsma Nafees is an undergraduate student pursuing a 5-year law degree (B.A. LL.B.) at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. She is a hard-working student with an intense desire to overachieve. As a lover of Love, she doesn't find any purpose in doing work that isn't serving the people; hence, she has chosen a degree that can help her achieve that aim and aspires to become a 'Judge'. She has served as a member in several positions of responsibility, such as currently in the Moot Court Cell, Law Society at AMU. Asma tries to be highly organized and self-motivated and maintains a work-life balance by dividing it judiciously between her academics and Internships. She interned under an AOR's specializing in arbitration, among several other advocates of the Supreme Court and High Court of Delhi. Reading is a staple and her friend; moreover, she is enthusiastic to explore more opportunities and dig out the best in related fields. Trying hands in leadership and co-curricular activities is her art, be it Moots or debates, etc. By extending the hand of privilege to the underprivileged, she aspires to administer Justice at large and fulfil her social responsibility towards her people and her country.
