Pallan Mehrunnisa

Mehrunnisa is an aspiring public health professional hailing from Karnataka and currently pursuing Masters of Public Health at SCTIMST, Trivandrum. Growing up in Qatar, experiencing a multicultural lifestyle has allowed her to shape her passion and commitment to helping others- through the lens of inclusivity and understanding. She did her BDS from Bapuji Dental college, Davangere and has since held onto the dream of working with the community- to do her part in making ‘Health for all’ come true. She believes equitable and accessible health care for everyone is important, especially the marginalized and is involved in projects related to Palliative health, Women’s health as well as Mental health. She wishes to empower the women of her community, stand in solidarity with all the Hijabis, to advocate and support fellow Indian Muslim women in the health care sector. She enjoys reading, loves furry animals and the band BTS- who taught her about self-love.
