Azra Yasmeen Khan

Azra Khan, a food technologist hailing from Mumbai, is enthusiastic about her field. As the first woman in her family to pursue higher education and then a job, she navigated the academic realm independently, earning a master's degree in food science and technology. Currently serving as a research associate, she has played a pivotal role in launching several innovative products for her company. Fueled by a passion for entrepreneurship, she aspires to establish her own confectionery-based startup and introduce different types of affordable artisanal chocolates and cookies that most of the middle-class population may not be aware of. She aims for her startup not only to thrive in its delicious offerings but also to serve as a platform to empower girls to represent themselves the way they choose, inspired by her experiences during her bachelor's program, where she faced unfortunate events related to her hijab.Azra has a keen interest in reading novels and is fond of all forms of Urdu limericks and poems.
