Aatika Fareed

Aatika Fareed is a recent History graduate from Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi. As a young Kashmiri Muslim woman, she hopes to combine different facets of her identity inorder to explore the impact of literature and media and power in defining historical events, current political scenarios, and collective mentality. Aside from being an international relations enthusiast, she is an avid writer and has contributed as a short story writer for two anthologies published by Swadhya Publishing House, Select Short Story- An Anthology and Swadhya Best Micro Stories. She desires to treasure the skills learnt and use it to tell her narrative along with others whose voices have been ignored and deliberately removed.
