Amrin Fakih is a research scholar from the Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bengaluru. Hailing from the discipline of Development Studies, her research interest lies in exploring multi-disciplinary issues. She was awarded Dr. Asha Datar Gold medal for securing the first position in the Master’s in Economics, Mumbai University. She has presented many papers in national as well as international conferences. Throughout her school and college days, she has actively participated in many elocution competitions and has represented her college in an inter-collegiate debate competition. Her recent work, titled ‘Indian startup ecosystem: Analysing investment concentration and performance of government programmes’ was published as an ISEC working paper in May 2021.
