Roshna Shirin Kakkadath

Roshna Shirin is currently pursuing her masters in Energy and Climate Policy at the University of Sussex. Her previous education in Physics and a master's in Development Studies has led to follow a career path in the renewable energy sector. After her studies in the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai, she worked with Tata Trusts and Ministry of Women and Child Development for 2 years for the National Nutrition Mission (NNM) programme.She learned about her passion in energy sector and sustainable development during this period. She truly believes that women upholding each other through test of times is the best way to fight patriarchy and oppression that persists in this world. A good chat with friends, basking in the sun with sound of the waves and meeting new people would mean world to her. She loves to explore new cultures, diverse ecosystems , heart-warming books and freshly brewed coffee with curiosity and love.
