Anisha Khatoon

Hailing from Kolkata, Anisha Khatoon is a Psychology trainee, who majored in Clinical Psychology. She centralizes her goals in deinstitutionalising mental health and further yearns to comprehend people suffering from mental illnesses beyond the label they get.
She received the certificate on the First Responder Training in Psychosocial Intervention and Crisis Management and led a couple of campaigns on creating awareness about mental health among the masses, particularly marginalized populations.
Her passion for fusing Islam with Psychology has enabled her to fetch a legacy of mental health interventions contributed by earlier Muslim scholars.
Her purpose is to retrieve the same legacy by making mental health interventions more culturally flexible.
