Maheen Erum

Dr. Maheen Erum is currently in her final year of MBBS training, working as an intern at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. Her personal and professional goals are centered around finding purpose and self-actualisation. Maheen firmly believes that perseverance and consistency in the face of oppression, is one of the biggest rebellions against the status-quo. Aiming to achieve great heights in her career, she hopes to play a pivotal role in building communities that offer space for women, allowing them to come from a place of kindness and courage, rather than that of fear and cynicism. Believing in the possibility of bridging gaps, while understanding the challenges of underprivileged communities lacking control on the kind of work they do, she aspires to belong to a world that upholds values of healthy interdependency. She’s an avid reader, and enjoys running and hiking.
