Nida Hasan

Nida Hasan has been part of Change.org India since 2014. Currently the Country Director for Change.org, she is responsible for developing a vision for Change.org's work in India that aims to more effectively empower Indians who use Change.org to create the change they want to see. Under her leadership, the platform has reached 3.3 crore users and continues to grow. She leads the growth of the Change.org brand in India, increasing the coverage of the remarkable stories of the campaign creators; communicating the power of Change.org's brand and model. In her previous capacity as Campaigns Director for Change.org India, Nida was responsible for executing the vision for Change.org's Women and Girls project. She led a team of campaigners to support women leaders through content, mobilization, and strategy support, which has led to some of the most iconic digital campaigns by women in the country. Before Change.org, Nida worked as a journalist for over 9 years in top media organizations. She covered South Asia and South East Asia for France's national TV, France 2, and reported on a wide range of issues for CNN-News18. She enjoys a strong cup of tea in the morning and loves reading historical fiction.
