Showg AlBarjas has a diverse work experience of 7 years, having worked in the field of MarCom with a focus on destination marketing and cultural engagements before transitioning into international affairs and partnerships. She has contributed to significant projects such as the G20 of Tourism and the Riyadh Bid for EXPO2030.

Additionally, she serves as an advisory board member at the College of Humanities and Sciences at Prince Sultan University. Dedicated to advancing women’s leadership and inclusion, Showg is actively involved in several organizations. She is a member of Lean In Circles, a Founding Member of Playbook, and an Ambassador for the Arab Institute for Womens Empowerment. Her commitment to the Arabic language is evident through her translation of literary articles with Takween Cultural Platform and as a freelance translator in the cultural sector since 2017. In addition to being fluent in Arabic and English, Showg speaks Hindi and Urdu and has a profound understanding of Indian culture.

In public speaking, Showg has served as the MC and moderator at forums centered around leadership, tourism, culture, youth, and intercultural relations, including the International Book Fairs of Riyadh and New Delhi, the Cultural Fund, the Gulf Islamic Investments, and Project1932. Showg is an intuitively-led person and a firm believer in the power of interdisciplinarity. Her diverse learning journey spans Global Art Market of Sotheby's to Financial Journalism at Bloomberg, and a course on International Relations Diplomacy at SciencesPo. She also holds a diploma in intercultural communication and has completed MiSK Foundation, Ignited Voices Program, which equips Saudi youth to lead discussions and represent on global platforms. Showg is a graduate of Prince Sultan University, where she earned her bachelors degree in Translation with honors in 2018.
