Yusra Hasan

Yusra Hasan is an associate producer at Nous Network. Nous Network is a think tank-media house working around humans rights, politics and religion, particularly interested in the Muslim question. Yusra is a strong advocate of Muslim women speaking for themselves and believes in the need for building Third Spaces for Indian Muslims. Working at Nous is one such labour of love.



Previously, she was with Newslaundry, working as a director-producer and writer. And before that she was with the team that created the documentary feature, While We Watched. Yusra likes to interact with her world creatively and critically, and the language that comes most naturally to her is the visual. When not obsessing over to-do lists and work optimisation, Yusra indulges in existential questions and cheese.
