"I felt like I could achieve anything. My once-dwindling willpower was rekindled within me"

Happiness, for me, comes in the little things.
Whether it's seeing my cousins after 2 years or basking in the warm buttery sunlight of the small town I live in. Throughout my life, I've been encouraged and supported to pursue my dreams. To be able to make my own decisions and achieve my goals.
I come from a Biology background where every student's struggle, including mine, was to pass the NEET. I had taken a two-year break in order to be admitted to a medical school, and it had taken its toll on me.
My self-esteem and motivation suffered as a result. I struggled all day and night, preparing and pushing myself, but I couldn't clear it yet again. Many things in my life that I would never have had the courage to do, whether it was weight loss or tooth extraction, gave me a sense of accomplishment after they were completed. It was then that I felt like I could achieve anything. My once-dwindling willpower was rekindled within me. It aided me in getting out of that downward spiral and moving on with my life.
Today, I have completed my Master's degree in Microbiology and am on my way to a Ph.D. in the same field. My ambition is to make my parents proud, and I will not give up until I achieve that goal. I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for their constant shoulder of support.
I know there is something out there for everyone, and even if it takes a few tries and a few struggles, it only strengthens you. You can open the door to your life and rekindle that spark within you only if you believe in yourself.
