My fondest memory of childhood is of vacations spent in the company of trees and mangoes.
I used to enjoy listening to stories and spending time with my parents and grandparents when I was a kid. They were my most steadfast supporters and gave me wings to fly and pursue whatever I wanted, and I will be eternally thankful to them. I have always had the freedom to make my own choices.
Despite my family's encouragement, I lacked faith in my own ability. At school, I was a very shy kid, and had a tough time making friends, while for the others around me, it was a piece of cake. It took time, but I finally worked my way out of that bubble of mine while simultaneously performing well in my studies. This sudden surge enabled me to get that confidence I was aiming for and pushed me to keep going forward.
Slowly and steadily, I gained confidence in my abilities and seized this opportunity to pursue my passion. Coding is something I absolutely love doing, and I'm doing it right now. I’m currently working for American Express as a software engineer, chasing my ambition. My duty in the world would be to contribute back to society as a technologist. I'm working hard to get to a point where I can make whatever small difference I can in as many people's lives as possible, looking back only to see how far I’ve come.
